What “BBB Approved” means inside The Bot Stores
A bot must work as advertised, clearly state its limits, protect customer permissions and data, make pricing and actions understandable, preserve truthful status language, keep an auditable record of meaningful actions, and be supportable at the level at which it is sold.
Core actions must actually function, not just look complete.
Prepared, Submitted, Confirmed and Verified stay distinct.
Customer-owned data and contact permissions are handled explicitly.
Access controls, private proof storage and safe defaults are required.
The user should know what happens next and who the actual authority is.
Users can review, export, remove and continue their records.
Important events, proof and delivery status should be traceable.
Support, costs and field deployment must match the product promise.
